Job Title: Housekeeping & Guest Host, Team Member for Glamping Resort
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
**About Us:**
Primal Resorts – Nestled between the Colorado river and towering red rock cliffs is a private ranch just 30min from Moab. We offer a unique lodging experience in the most stunning location. Guests can stay in our cave suites carved into the famous Moab redrock, our comfortable glamping tents, Tiny Home Trailers or one of our DIY camp sites. Our off-grid location and operation is rustic, natural and truly stunning. We are a year-round site, but winter is our slow season. Join our dynamic team and experience the beauty and adventure of Moab!
We are a small team who all wear multiple hats to operate successfully. Communication, coordination and fixability is CRITICAL.
We operate a variety of accommodations. Between 15-30 units depending on the season:
· Redrock Cave Suites
· Glamping Tents
· DIY Camp Sites
· Tiny Homes
· Private Ranch House
**Live and Work in Paradise:**
Our location is at the end of a dirt road, remote, yet accessible. If you are looking to get away from it all, but still be in the middle of the action, this is the place. Spend your free time in the mecca of outdoor adventure and natural wonders with 2 national parks, 2 state parks, and endless miles of trails.
**Compensation & Benefits:**
Competitive compensation with opportunity for increase after trial period.
· Total compensation will vary depending on experience, skill versatility and living arrangements.
· Possibility of on-site living. Limited on-site living or RV style sites available. Staff living on site have access to:
o Free WiFi
o Utilities- (power, non-potable water, septic)
o On-site laundry facilities
o Access to on-site activities and amenities (kayaking, hiking, bike tours, Pickle ball)
· Collaborative and dynamic work environment.
· Rural setting with stunning natural beauty and the best star gazing in the country.
· For ‘on-site living’ we will evaluate staff pets on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities
**Primary Responsibilities:**
Housekeeping & light maintenance for our unique rustic glamping resort. Clean and maintain accommodations and bathrooms, prepare accommodations for guests:
· Clean accommodations after guest checkouts.
· Prepare accommodations for new guest arrivals.
· Clean and stock bathhouse.
· Organize and maintain supplies & storage, including Host Hut.
· Monitor inventory of supplies.
· Maintain cleanliness of grounds and common areas.
· Maintain trash receptacles.
· Manage daily laundry and stock of linens.
· Additional tasks as requested.
Guest Hosting:
· Welcome guests to the site and give brief orientation of services.
· Assist with guest services (check-ins, check-outs).
· Assist guests with onsite needs and questions.
· Deliver additional guest supplies as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Assist with cave and tent maintenance.
· Report maintenance issues to Site Supervisor.
· Collaborate with staff for seamless guest experience.
· Participate in deep cleaning projects and special events.
· Assist guests with local information (activities, sites, dining, etc.).
· Additional tasks as requested.
Job Requirements
**Requirements:**
· 1+ year of housekeeping experience.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
· Physical ability to perform manual labor required by responsibilities.
· Physical ability to perform manual labor in a year-round outdoor environment.
· Flexibility to work varying shifts (weekends, holidays).
· Work well with people both staff and guests.
· Ability to lift 25 pounds
